Dear Friends and Clients,

Thank you for continuing to trust James Cress Florist for all of your floral needs.

This past year has brought many changes and challenges due to COVID-19. Our mission to “Deliver Love” one arrangement at a time has never been more important as many people choose to send flowers to loved ones when they can’t be together in person.

Throughout our shop’s long history, nothing has been more important to us than providing unbeatable service and quality to our customers. That’s why it’s important to us to be honest with you about temporary challenges facing the entire floral industry right now.

Due to unexpected demand from COVID-19 along with extremely bad weather and cargo challenges, flower farms around the world are facing a huge shortage of flowers. This means that some types of fresh flowers are unavailable or scarce to anyone who sells flowers in the industry from flower shops to large retail chains. Even though our shop buys directly from the best farms all over the world, there are some flowers we are unable to get right now and this changes from week to week.

Our team is working hard to get all of the highest quality and freshest flowers available from around the world during this unprecedented shortage. We continue to receive many beautiful types of flowers regularly. While there will be some occasions that we have to substitute a particular flower or color in an arrangement, we will always make sure that any substitutions are of equal or greater value. Our expert designers will work hard to maintain the original aesthetic of the arrangement you choose if there are substitutions.

I have attached some pictures from some of the farms in South America facing terrible weather and shortages below.
